| Crichton Lang, Willis + Galloway was established in 1984 as a direct result result of the dissolution of Ian G. Lindsay and Partners. Of the founding partners, David Willis remains following the retirement from the business of both Mr. Lang and Mr Galloway in 1988. The practice relocated into its present owner-occupied offices in Edinburgh's Stockbridge in 1990. Crichton Lang, Willis + Galloway have carried on the tradition, established in Scotland by Ian Lindsay, of architects with particular interest and skill in the care and conservation of existing buildings, and a bias towards the sensitive reuse and refurbishment of existing and historically important buildings |
